Tomato, Caper & Celery Salad
Meet our go-to salad.
Hard to find a meal that doesn't go well when
accompanied by this ultra-refreshing salad
Serves 4-6
1 small onion, finely chopped
4 big tomatoes
2oz/60g capers( soaked in water to get rid of the saltiness)
5 celery stalks, peeled and finely diced
Half bunch cilantro, finely chopped
5 tablespoons Signature Harissa
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon Preserved Lemon Paste*
salt to taste
Using a serrated peeler to peel the tomatoes. Cut in half and remove the seeds and liquid. Finely chop and place in a mixing bowl.
Drain the capers, roughly chop and add to the mixing bowl with the rest of the ingredients. Taste for salt and serve.
*Our Preserved Lemon Paste is an all-natural product and is therefore subject to slight variations due to the amount of natural pectin in each batch. We recommend that customers who receive Preserved Lemon Paste with a more gel-like texture either blitz their desired amount in a blender or use a knife to gently run through the product on a cutting board until it reaches their desired texture.
