Are your products kosher?
All our spice blends are OU certified. They include: Shawarma, Za’atar, Ras El Hanout, Hawaij, Baharat, Sumac, Rosey Harissa, Herby Harissa and Fiery Harissa.
Our condiments (Signature Harissa, Harissa with Preserved Lemon, Preserved Lemon Paste) and crackers (Harissa, Hawaij, and Za’atar flavors) are not Kosher.

I recently purchased your Preserved Lemon Paste and it looks a little different than what I’ve received in the past. Any advice?
All New York Shuk products, including our Preserved Lemon Paste, are all-natural and can therefore be subject to variation. The variation in our Preserved Lemon Paste is due to the natural pectin found in lemons, which can at times create a gel-like texture. The amount of pectin varies lemon to lemon so the batches will have variations in texture--same great taste though.
We recommend that customers who receive Preserved Lemon Paste with a more gel-like texture either blitz their desired amount in a blender or use a knife to gently run through the product on a cutting board until it reaches their desired texture.
