Preserved Lemon & Hawaij Chicken Marinade

Truth be told, we eat a lot of chicken at home - and it gets boring. This recipe will take you out of your chicken rut. These bold flavors, quite frankly will blow your mind and have you coming back for more. The Hawaij, Preserved Lemon and rosemary is a not-to-be-missed combo. The more time you manage to marinate your chicken the more tender it will be.


4 tablespoons Preserved Lemon Paste

2 tablespoon Hawaij

2 garlic clove, minced

4 tablespoon olive oil

1 rosemary sprig

½ tsp salt/ or to taste

1.5lb chicken tenders

Mix all ingredients together and let marinate overnight. A couple of hours will also do the trick.

Bake in a 450f preheated oven for 20 minutes or until ready. Chop up and serve with rice and a salad for the perfect meal.
