Chicken Patties & Lima Beans In Harissa Sauce
Chicken patties are underrated-
so much more tasty and way more healthier for you then beef.
The combination of the Harissa with the
sautéed garlic as a base of flavor is a winner.
Serve 5
Ingredients:
400g cooked lima beans
Chicken patties:
750g-ground chicken
1 egg
2 slices of white bread (soak for
a couple of seconds,
squeeze out liquid and
grate to get fine crumbs)
salt to taste
1 tsp. Hawaij
1 small onion, grated and squeezed from liquid
1 bunch of parsley, finely chopped
Sauce:
5 tbsp. Signature Harissa
3 tbsp. oil
4 minced garlic cloves
2 cups water
Mix well all ingredient for the chicken patties together.
Shape into patties.( around 1 tbsp. per patty). Heat oil in a large skillet; fry over medium heat for 1-2 minutes on each side or until golden brown (we will keep cooking them in the next step, so they don’t need to be completely cooked through)
In a separate shallow & wide pan, heat oil adding the garlic (careful not to burn garlic), harissa and water. Add the beans, stir and lay the patties on top of the beans, cover with lid and cook on low heat for 15-20 minutes.
